I made this skirt. isn't it cute? it is the lazy day skirt from Oliver& s. So easy and fun to make. My boss wants more fer the cutie in the picture.





Jacob loves playing with the kitchen at work and especially loves making me coffee and praying before he eats whatever he has made. I am on the hunt for one but you know on clearance, really the only way I shop.



Jacob has also been more and more interested in going potty on the toilet. Every time he tells me he has to go we try but he hasn't yet actually gone on the toilet. I'm not pushing because I know it's early.

flowers for mama

Yesterday we had a sick day (them, not us) and we enjoyed having the whole day to ourselves with nothing to do. We played, ran errands, washed dishes, mixed a little flour and water together and enjoyed a long nap. On these days off I am reminded how good the light is in my apartment. My plants have never been so happy and I am sure if I was here more often during the day I would be happier too.

Jacob and I are into taking pictures of ourselves. Here are some of my favorites. Also Jacob loves saying cheese when getting his picture taken. I am still not sure who taught him that.

ski sledding

You may have seen pictures like this on another blog over here but as soon as I saw these pictures I needed to see for myself how this ski sledding worked. We took Jacob this afternoon and he loved it. We just gave a little push down the hill and there he went. He was giiggling and enjoying the whole way down.

Jacob is trying to talk more and more and I am loving his chatter turning into words. We are excited for tomorrow and I have been trying to get him to say Obama, he said O today but nothing else. He also claps when he sees him on TV.
