Jacob and annie have been happily playing with their new toys since they were opened christmas morning. Really, I'm not sure they have ever played with one toy for so long. Legos, playmobil, minnie mouse, remote control car, skirts and dress up!

we are having fun preparing our house. jacob and jane just got into the christmas closet. he found christmas coffee cups! I knew I was missing something...

painting!

Annie, Jacob and I painted the upstairs bathroom. It was still builder white! and in need of a paint job before company arrives in a week. Jacob helped by unscrewing the light switch plates and removing the tape before the paint was too dry. The whole time we were painting he wanted to help so I taped up some paper in the tub and let him paint in there with promises of using the painting stuff after school.





Annie has been so helpful around the house these last two days!

annie's first haircut!

We took annie to get her first haircut last week. She did not want to do it at first but watching Elizabeth and Jacob get their haircuts helped warm her up to the situation. She had fun and I'd say it is pretty cute, mostly because her hair is out of her eyes.
