conversations with a 3 year old

-mom, for christmas I want a firetruck, you know, with lights and sounds. I want santa to bring it from walmart.

then he prompts me to come over with a hug and kiss

a full day!

We had such a busy day yesterday. Jacob told me that busy days are fun, so it worked out for everyone. We met our cousins at UST and played, ate, saw santa, danced and had just a ton of fun. The new building is a awesome! then we came home and decorated cookies with our other cousin and aunt and topped off the night with a little skating. It was jacob's first time skating this year and he tried really hard, but put his boots back on after about five minutes.

both annie and adele had a blast in this. although they never quite made it over to each other.

adele and jacob were such a big help decorating these cookies. the worst job if you ask me but they sure had a ton of fun.

ice skating unsuccessful. luckily he was not bummed.


We took off the skates right after this and put back on his boots. we played "hockey" which to me is more like soccer on ice.

to you dear sisters. I let annie have TWO whole muffins yesterday! and then this morning she had toast NOT cut up.
yay me! yay annie!

in the snow!

We haven't walked down to the park since it snowed but we sure had a lot of fun going there today. I bundled the kids all up which took a wile but was so worth it. (Elizabeth was sent a pair of boots for david that ended up being too small for him but fit annie perfect)
Annie loved swinging and jacob had a blast going down the slides covered in snow.








We were quite surprised and very happy that the ice rink has been started. You would not be able to skate on the rink with skates, but boot skating sure is fun! Many tears were shed when we left the rink today. He cried almost the whole way home, stopping to cry harder and sometimes throw himself to the ground.
