pioneer press building. we were amazed at the old elevators and how tall and cold the building was. is it empty? everyone is looking up to try to find the top.

we took the opportunity to run the sky way system of st. paul monday morning. the kids had a blast. there were 8 kids total and the four oldest even started a new architecture firm called tigan tigan haeg and haeg. we had fun walking by buildings that parents and grandparents work in. a fun, wild morning had by all for sure.











union depot was also very cool.

christmas toys!

Jacob and annie have been happily playing with their new toys since they were opened christmas morning. Really, I'm not sure they have ever played with one toy for so long. Legos, playmobil, minnie mouse, remote control car, skirts and dress up!
so fun!

we are having fun preparing our house. jacob and jane just got into the christmas closet. he found christmas coffee cups! I knew I was missing something...

painting!

Annie, Jacob and I painted the upstairs bathroom. It was still builder white! and in need of a paint job before company arrives in a week. Jacob helped by unscrewing the light switch plates and removing the tape before the paint was too dry. The whole time we were painting he wanted to help so I taped up some paper in the tub and let him paint in there with promises of using the painting stuff after school.





Annie has been so helpful around the house these last two days!

nothing says Christmas with kids like a paper plate wreath.

in the garage

working on mom's car. it crashed into a girl' car and the brakes blew out. I'm trying to fix the brakes. Can you get the litlle ladder out? please, please mommy. please.
