for my sisters!

to you dear sisters. I let annie have TWO whole muffins yesterday! and then this morning she had toast NOT cut up.

in the snow!

We haven't walked down to the park since it snowed but we sure had a lot of fun going there today. I bundled the kids all up which took a wile but was so worth it. (Elizabeth was sent a pair of boots for david that ended up being too small for him but fit annie perfect)
Annie loved swinging and jacob had a blast going down the slides covered in snow.








We were quite surprised and very happy that the ice rink has been started. You would not be able to skate on the rink with skates, but boot skating sure is fun! Many tears were shed when we left the rink today. He cried almost the whole way home, stopping to cry harder and sometimes throw himself to the ground.

I took the kids to the park last week to try to take a picture of the both of them outside. I took lots of pictures but none of them turned out.

oh, what a beautiful morning

oh, what a beautiful day. Jacob and I sang this song on the way to tumbling. Jacob was so excited when he woke up this morning he wanted to go right outside and play. How could I say no? I just had this thought that when he is older he might not be this happy to see snow and I should just go with it.







Annie was sleeping most of the time we were outside but my question is do they even make winter boots for size 3 or 4 infants. I have seen size 5 but not smaller. I know she would have a hard time walking in the snow but really, she loves being outside.

Jacob is happy to be going to school. E.C.F.E. not really school, just don't tell him that.

We just love it when cousins come to play!!!


Annie turned One! Which deserves a post of itself.


Jacob loves jumping in the leaves and also does not like having his picture taken.


We had a fun bonfire with Grandma and Grandpa and even sang some songs.


We tried to fly a kite. We need to drive somewhere with more of an open field, Jacob is very discouraged by kite flying because it just doesn't really work at the park.


Annie just loves her dog and blanket. She grabs them out of the crib when I get her up. So cute, but could become a problem.

We have been having such a fun time we forgot to blog.

annie's first shiner

Annie got her first black eye this week. the first day or two it was really swollen and now her eyelid is really purple and looks like she forgot to put on make up on her other eye. Poor girl. It has not stopped her at all from climbing on chairs and furniture though. She's a tough cookie.





don't mind her runny nose please, she is also getting her one year molars.
