Jacob and I are into taking pictures of ourselves. Here are some of my favorites. Also Jacob loves saying cheese when getting his picture taken. I am still not sure who taught him that.

ski sledding

You may have seen pictures like this on another blog over here but as soon as I saw these pictures I needed to see for myself how this ski sledding worked. We took Jacob this afternoon and he loved it. We just gave a little push down the hill and there he went. He was giiggling and enjoying the whole way down.

Jacob is trying to talk more and more and I am loving his chatter turning into words. We are excited for tomorrow and I have been trying to get him to say Obama, he said O today but nothing else. He also claps when he sees him on TV.

we have been very busy around here. we moved to st. paul and are loving our new place. more to come soon. unitl then pictures of the month!!!

jacob and the table

jacob loves climbing on chairs and then onto tables. I worry that he will fall off and take him off the table a lot each day. Today at work I put the chairs on the bench so that there was no table climbing. We'll see how long until he figures out how to take the chairs off of the bench...or maybe hell grow out of it.



I bought jacob a doll a while back. He loves holding it, kissing it, hugging it and wearing it like I wore him. So precious.

relief

I am so happy that this presidential election is over and that Obama is president. I keep thinking about what this will mean to Jacob when he is older and am glad I was able to share the experience of voting for Obama with him. We waited about 2 and a half hours to vote but it was so worth it. Luckily there was a park at the polling place and Jim could save my spot in line!
Now if we just knew the outcome of this senate race here in the MN.
