hello again

we have been very busy around here. we moved to st. paul and are loving our new place. more to come soon. unitl then pictures of the month!!!

jacob and the table

jacob loves climbing on chairs and then onto tables. I worry that he will fall off and take him off the table a lot each day. Today at work I put the chairs on the bench so that there was no table climbing. We'll see how long until he figures out how to take the chairs off of the bench...or maybe hell grow out of it.



I bought jacob a doll a while back. He loves holding it, kissing it, hugging it and wearing it like I wore him. So precious.

relief

I am so happy that this presidential election is over and that Obama is president. I keep thinking about what this will mean to Jacob when he is older and am glad I was able to share the experience of voting for Obama with him. We waited about 2 and a half hours to vote but it was so worth it. Luckily there was a park at the polling place and Jim could save my spot in line!
Now if we just knew the outcome of this senate race here in the MN.

the week in pictures

new shoes

aren't my new shoes cute. I bought them this weekend at Better then Ever. Have you been there? It is a consignment store that is not filled to the brim with overcrowded racks. It is such an easy store to go through in 20 minutes. I also got Jacob some cute pajamas that had never been worn for super cheap.

really? it's been this long? sorry jane.

we have been busy and stressed out. buying a house is time consuming mentally and physically. blah. maybe a new house. maybe not. we will see. the deal is on hold because the garage is full of peeling paint and you cannot get a FHA loan when there is peeling paint. anyways.



two weeks! ago we went to iowa and had such a good time. it was so good to see everyone and i love that we have been seeing more of you all recently. we went out for lunch and to a street art fair in a cute little town. the best burger ever was eaten.



jacob had fun and even swept mandy's house.





we pulled over to a farm stand when we were driving the looooong way home. it was fun and the gourds i bought are very pretty in my kitchen.

I do not have any new pictures since the trip to iowa. i need to start carrying around my camera like i carry my cell phone.
